The Coming of Corn (a Choctaw tale, from The Girl Who Helped Thunder and Other Native American Folktales. Retold by James Bruchac & Joseph Bruchac, Ph.D. , Illustrated by Stefano Vitale)

Come and hear the tale of a little boy who likes watching the birds of the field rather than hunting them, and find out how corn came to be.  We will have fun picking our favorite parts of the story, creating dialogue for the characters, and acting out our dialogues for each other!
